Motiv8 Steps are alternative learning programmes designed to engage and motive learners, and have a focus on personal and social development.
Learners engaged on the programme are able to gain nationally-recognised awards and qualifications at Levels 1 and 2, dependent upon age, capabilities and length of programme.
The programmes are flexible in design and length, offering a range of credit-based pathways which can be carried out in both formal and informal settings.
Motiv8 Steps provides accreditation through the National Open College Network (NOCN) ranging from a two year diploma, one year certificate to shorter six to eight week award programmes. In addition, Motiv8 also provides programmes that supplement and contribute to existing curricula, such as ASDAN CoPE and BTEC.
Motiv8 works closely with customers to establish their individual needs, helping them to identify the right programme for their learners.

“The quality of provision is excellent. MOTIV8 staff make contact with new pupils before their first session and maintain communication and support for those pupils who require regular reassurance. The programme is well planned in close conjunction with the pupils. The activities are appropriate, varied and exciting. As a result, pupil attendance and engagement with the MOTIV8 programme has been very high.”
Carrie James, Head
Emotional and Vulnerable Unit, Fareham
“The MOTIV8 outdoor provision is vital to Quayside. The MOTIV8 provision also provides an opportunity for social skills work and our pupils benefit from this to a high degree. Reports from MOTIV8 are of high quality and they work very closely with us, providing the pupils with a very important aspect of the curriculum.”
