Motiv8 is a charity that works with 8-25 year olds, with a primary focus on 13-19 year olds. Delivery is aligned around community-based teams backed up by colleagues providing support with Participation, Junior Leaders, Volunteering and Motiv8 Outdoors. Working in partnership with other agencies Motiv8 offers a varied menu of options within the context of a service delivery model.

Motiv8 was originally formed in 1998 under the name Portsmouth Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) to respond to the, then new, Crime and Disorder Act 1998 with a specific focus on young people’s needs. The change of name to Motiv8 occurred in 2003. The organisation is constituted as both a Register Charity no.1069085 and a Company Limited by Guarantee in England and Wales no.3512607.
